What makes a good neighbor?
A good neighbor is someone who finds the perfect balance between connection and respect. I’m lucky to have neighbors like this—the kind you can chat with for hours or just exchange a friendly wave.
We each have our private lives but are always ready to help when needed. Whether it’s chatting over the fence about birds, helping with bins and pets while one of us is away, or sharing freshly baked treats, it’s a community built on small acts of kindness.
We keep an eye out for each other, respecting each other’s space, like lowering the music volume if it’s too loud, or even sharing a delicious meal.
Most importantly, it’s that feeling of connection across all ages—knowing that you have someone nearby if you ever truly need them.
It’s this mix of respect, support, and a sense of community that makes a good neighbor truly great.
