List three jobs you’d consider pursuing if money didn’t matter.
I’ve spent years immersing myself in the world of the mind—reading, listening, researching, wondering. It’s become more than a hobby; it’s a passion. From watching psychological thrillers that challenge the human psyche to journaling insights, I’ve found that understanding the mind is a lifelong journey. I’ve taken notes for years, and through this blog, I aim to share what I’ve learned.
I often dream about the jobs I would pursue if money (or my chronic pain) didn’t matter—roles where my passion for the human mind and wellness would take center stage. These are jobs that intrigue me not because they promise financial success, but because they align deeply with my core beliefs about the mind, well-being, and helping others.
Here are the three jobs I’d love to pursue I’ve learned along the way that are key to mental and emotional wellness.
1. Therapist: Guiding People Through Their Emotional Journeys
Therapists have the incredible ability to guide people through their emotional challenges and help them understand themselves better. I’ve always been fascinated by human behavior, emotions, and how our pasts shape who we are today. If money were no object, being a therapist would be one of my top choices.
2. Author: Writing About the Mind and Wellness
Through storytelling, I’d write books that blend psychological insight with relatable narratives—books that encourage people to reflect, heal, and grow. I believe the written word can have a profound impact on the way we see ourselves and the world around us, and I’d love to share everything I’ve learned in a way that sparks change.
3. Life Coach: Helping Others Implement Positive Change
I love learning about human potential, self-development, and creating lasting change. Being a life coach would allow me to help others implement the practices that lead to a healthier, more fulfilled life. From the lessons I’ve gathered over the years, I could guide people in setting goals, building habits, and transforming their mindset.
The life coach role combines practical, actionable steps with the deeper, introspective work that helps people move forward. Imagine helping someone overcome their fears, unlock their true potential, and create the life they’ve always wanted. That’s the kind of work that excites me.
That’s why I created M.E. Journals—because after all the reading, research, and reflection, everything always circles back to the 8 core essentials for a balanced life. Through this blog, I hope to share insights from my years of journaling, distilling the lessons I’ve gathered to help others find clarity and balance.
It is also important that the content is free, but if you find value in what I share, you’re welcome to support the journey with donations through Buy Me a Coffee.
