Have you ever performed on stage or given a speech?
While the idea of delivering a speech fills me with more nerves than excitement (hence my love for blogging instead), I do have fond memories of performing in drama shows as a kid. From belting out songs in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to dancing along in Grease, those moments on stage were a blast.
There’s something magical about being part of a performance—collaborating with others, stepping into a role, and feeling the buzz of an audience.
The stage was always a space for fun, creativity, and connection—none of the pressure that comes with giving a formal speech. Performing taught me teamwork and how to embrace a little spotlight now and then.
While I’ve swapped scripts for a keyboard as an adult, the joy of those drama days still lingers.
If you’ve ever been on stage, what did you perform?
Or, are you more of a behind-the-scenes kind of person?
