What I’m most excited about for the future, isn’t a specific job title, destination, or neatly laid-out plan.
It’s the unknown that excites me the most – the Plot Twists!
Yes, the unknown—the unpredictable, the unwritten, the “I have no idea what’s coming next” part of life.
There’s something fun about knowing we can plan all we want, but life still has the power to throw in plot twists, surprise characters, and unexpected opportunities.
I can dream, set goals, and prepare for the worst—but at the end of the day, we really have no clue what’s going to happen.
And honestly? That’s Exciting!

Uncertainty
The not knowing felt scary—when uncertainty felt like a threat. I’ve realized it’s also what makes life feel alive. It leaves room for growth, for the unexpected, for chance encounters that change everything.
Every moment of uncertainty is an invitation to trust.
Trust that we’re adaptable.
Trust that we’re capable of navigating what comes.
Trust that sometimes, the things we never planned for turn out to be exactly what we needed.

Plot Twists
Plot twists are part of the journey. Think of every great story—you never love a book because everything goes to plan. It’s the twist halfway through, the fork in the road, the decision you weren’t expecting that gives it depth and meaning.
Our lives are the same.
Maybe the relationship you thought would last didn’t, and you discovered your independence.
Maybe the job you lost made space for your true calling.
Maybe the move, the illness, the heartbreak were plot twists, not endings.

I live for the exciting possibility that something amazing could happen tomorrow that I can’t even imagine today.
The idea that no matter how hard life gets, a better chapter might still be ahead.
That I can change my mind.
That I can try again.
That life can change its pace and direction in the most beautiful ways when we least expect it.
Maybe I’ll Scuba Dive in the Future.

“The magic of life is not in the certainty of it, but in the freedom to evolve, to choose again, and to be surprised.”

The future doesn’t need to be perfectly mapped out to be exciting. Sometimes the biggest act of courage and joy is to welcome the uncertainty, hold our dreams loosely, and be open to what unfolds.
We’re all just figuring it out as we go—and maybe that’s the most exciting part of all.
