Morning Reflections – Pain or Gratitude

Every morning is a new day, we don’t know what it will bring. For many, waking up is a gentle welcome to life; for others, like me and so many people, it’s a moment of fear—fear of how much pain will be there to greet me before my eyes even open.

Chronic pain makes every day uncertain.

But today, Today, I am grateful because less of me hurt.

Yesterday, every part of my body was so sore I couldn’t reach for the painkillers.

This morning, it was just one limb—just one!

A small stretch, and it was moving again. That moment of relief was enough to change the course of my day. It reminded me that healing, hope, and gratitude don’t always come in big declarations—they arrive in the tiniest signs of progress.

Gratitude means recognizing the tiny light we see through the cracks.

When we take time to explore what’s happening in the present—right now, today—we become more in tune with ourselves.

We learn to appreciate what is instead of dwelling only on what isn’t. And some days, that one grateful thought can be the reason we get through.

The Sins of Goal Setting 🙂 No Follow Through

Goal setting is a powerful tool for achieving success. It gives us a roadmap for where we want to go and serves as a motivation to keep moving forward. My Biggest Parenting Challenges (And What They’re Teaching Me)
