Questions to Journal for Yourself
Our mistaken beliefs often shape the way we view ourselves and the world around us. These beliefs can limit our growth and happiness, but the good news is we have the power to challenge and change them.
Here are some reflective questions to help you uncover and explore your mistaken beliefs:
1. What do I believe about my abilities?
- Is this belief rooted in fact or self-doubt?
2. What do I believe about my worth?
- Do I feel unworthy or undeserving of success?
3. What is my belief about failure?
- Do I see it as a setback or a learning opportunity?
4. What do I believe about success?
- Do I think success is for others, but not for me?
5. What beliefs do I hold about relationships?
- Do I believe I need to earn love, or that it should be unconditional?
6. What do I believe about change?
- Do I resist change out of fear, or do I see it as a chance to grow?
7. How do I view the opinions of others?
- Do I allow others’ judgments to dictate my actions and beliefs?
8. What are my beliefs about self-care?
- Do I feel guilty for taking care of myself, or do I embrace it?
By asking these questions and journaling your answers, you can begin to identify beliefs that no longer serve you.
Challenge them, replace them with empowering thoughts, and take action towards the life you desire.
