Unbreakable: Finding Strength in the Midst of Chronic Pain

For years, pain has been my constant companion.

Not the kind that fades with rest or disappears with medication, but the relentless, exhausting kind—the kind that tests you, breaks you down, and makes you question how much more you can take.

And yet, here I am.

Still standing.

Still fighting.

The irony isn’t lost on me. My body is weak, aching under the weight of chronic pain, but my spirit?

My spirit is stronger than ever.

Strength in Every Struggle

There have been countless moments when I wanted to give up—when the pain felt unbearable, when exhaustion consumed me, when hope seemed like a distant memory.

But each time, I found something inside me that refused to quit.

Maybe it was sheer stubbornness, maybe it was the quiet whisper of resilience, or maybe it was the realization that I’ve already survived so much.

I’ve learned that strength isn’t about being physically invincible. It’s about waking up every day and facing the battle, even when you’re exhausted from fighting. It’s about choosing to keep going, even when every part of you screams to stop.

The Power of Resilience

I used to think that being strong meant never breaking.

But I know now that true strength is about bending, about weathering the storm without letting it define you.

Strength is crying when you need to, resting when you must, and still finding a way to rise again.

There are days when I feel like I can’t take another step, and yet, somehow, I do.

That is something to be proud of.

Owning My Strength

So today, I choose to celebrate my strength—not just in the moments when I feel capable, but in the moments when I feel my weakest yet continue on anyway.

I am proud of every battle I’ve faced, every tear I’ve shed, and every day I’ve refused to let pain steal my spirit.

To anyone else walking this path, I see you.

I know how heavy it feels.

But trust me when I say—you are stronger than you think.

And that strength is worth celebrating.

The Sins of Goal Setting 🙂 No Follow Through

Goal setting is a powerful tool for achieving success. It gives us a roadmap for where we want to go and serves as a motivation to keep moving forward. However, there is one crucial element that separates successful goal setters from those who fall short: follow through. Without follow through, even the best-laid plans will…

My Biggest Parenting Challenges (And What They’re Teaching Me)

Parenting is one of the most beautiful, meaningful, heart-expanding roles I’ve ever had — and also one of the most humbling. No book, no advice column, no well-meaning relative can fully prepare you for the reality of raising a tiny human who has big feelings, endless questions, and a personality completely their own. The truth?…
