What was the last thing you did for play or fun?
Last night was exactly what I needed—an easy evening with good food, great company, and a live music experience I’d been looking forward to for ages.
It started with dinner and drinks. The food hit the spot, and the drinks gave us just the right buzz for lively conversation.
My friend and I caught up about life, laughed about old stories, and just enjoyed being in the moment—no distractions, no rush.
Looking back, I realized the night hit 3 out of the 8 Essentials:
Fun, Water, and Connection.
Fun was everywhere—the music, the vibe, and the laughter we shared.
Water came through in the drinks (both sparkling and spirited), refreshing and setting the mood.
But most importantly, there was Connection. Sitting across from a good friend, sharing stories, and truly being present felt grounding in a way that’s rare these days.
Walking away from the night, I felt grateful for having such a lovely friend. It was real and grounding—a reminder that sometimes the best nights are the ones where everything just quietly clicks.
