Walk…Walk…Walk…

What are your favorite physical activities or exercises?


When it comes to exercise, I’m all about keeping it simple, enjoyable, and tailored to what my body can handle on any given day.

At the top of my list?

Walking.

A scenic route, preferably with gorgeous views, keeps me engaged (because let’s face it, walking in circles is boring). If nature’s soundtrack isn’t enough, an interesting podcast or an audiobook can turn a walk into an adventure.

Swimming is another favorite—well, more like floating and gently moving through the water because I’m not exactly Michael Phelps. Add a sauna or steam room afterward, and it feels like a mini spa day, which my body (and chronic pain) thanks me for.

On days when I feel a bit more energetic, I enjoy circuit training. It’s a great way to mix things up and get my heart pumping. Low-impact options like yoga or Pilates are lifesavers too, offering stretches and movement that feel like a kind hug for my muscles.

Of course, my go-to is always walking but who knows? Today might just be a swim day!

Whatever the activity, I’ve learned to listen to my body and switch things up as needed.
