What would your life be like without music?
I hum and sing all day, every day. It’s not something I consciously choose to do—it’s just a part of me. Whether I’m walking down the street, washing dishes, or working, there’s always a melody humming in the background of my mind, flowing from my lips.
Why? Because it keeps my negative or ruminating thoughts at bay. Music is my constant companion, my personal therapy, and my greatest source of joy.
It’s incredible how something as simple as a tune can shift your entire mindset. The moment I feel anxious or my thoughts start spiraling, I can count on music to pull me out of that loop. I don’t need to force myself into positivity. I just hum, sing, or listen to music, and the rest naturally follows. It brings me back to the present, quieting my mind and filling the space with something uplifting and beautiful.
But it’s not just about silencing the noise in my head. Music adds so much joy, fun, dance, and creation to every single day. It’s hard to imagine life without it.
How boring would life be without the sound of a piano gently playing in the background, a violin capturing raw emotion, or a guitar riding the beat? Then there’s the bass—a pulse you can feel deep within your soul, vibrating through every inch of your being. And when it all comes together—those instruments in perfect harmony with each other, layered with lyrics that tell a story—you’re taken on a journey. One that isn’t just heard but felt in every cell of your body.
Especially those angelic voices. The kind that give you goosebumps, that make you stop in your tracks because the sheer beauty of it takes you by surprise. You feel connected to something bigger, something that words alone could never fully capture. That’s the magic of music.
For me, music isn’t a background thing. It’s the soundtrack to my life, shaping every moment, whether I’m actively making it or just letting it wash over me. It’s a source of endless creation, constantly evolving and bringing something new to the table, no matter how many times I listen to the same song.
So, yes, I sing and hum all the time. And it’s more than just a habit—it’s a way to keep my spirit light, my mind focused, and my heart filled with joy.
Every day becomes a little brighter with a melody to guide me, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Do you get what I mean?
