From an ex-CHSCF Assistant Secretary

I still can't digest the fact that I am officially 'retired'. Well, in fact, I never really digested the fact that I was actually CHSCF's assistant secretary in the first place. haha!

It all seemed just the same.

Well.. I gave it a thought... in the end, I realized it doesn't really matter and it never did. That's the beauty of the Kingdom of Heaven, the Army of God!

LOVE is once again the reason! God is LOVE!

The first time we know how much God really is the definition of love, we are so overflowed and convicted and have no other thoughts but to love Him back, to give our lives to Him. To tell the world about Him and about His sacrifice as a free gift to the world! Knowing in our hearts that the world needs to know about this!! Just like how I started to use Android and I just had to tell everyone that Android rocks, because it does! Of course, Jesus ranks infinitely higher than this. =)

My point being, since that day we found our first love, we will not stop loving Him back and serving Him, giving our all to Him.

Not being in the CF committee at first, I wasn't any different from those who had posts, because ultimately we are serving the same God, just with different roles and responsibility. Some people say that we differ by gerko marks, but I say gerko mark means nothing in the Army of God, what matters to us are lives, people and following Christ! Stepping up as committee last year, I never saw myself as a secretary as well. It's fine I have some extra?secretarial?responsibilities, but personally, that wasn't my focus, my focus was still on God's heart and will, saving lives and making an impact, BEING WHAT A CHRISTIAN SHOULD BE. I saw that it was still the same spirit that drives me. Until today, we actually stepped down, and I felt nothing, coz I'm still on the same path in His Kingdom as part of His army! =D Well.. perhaps the difference is that now we can focus on really making an impact for Christ rather than having headaches to run cf.

That's just the cool part about CFs, we can just go out to cf rallies and cf?conventions?and blend with every other school's so well. It doesn't matter where you are from and how you run your cf, what matters is that we actually have one same goal to serve one big awesome God and shine for Him! We all, ?CFs from everywhere know we as Christians are placed in our schools for a reason, we know we are called to be salt and light, and we encourage each other by praying and sharing testimonies with each other. That's why I personally think that CFs are more powerful that churches, our unity is mind blowing.

Thats what makes us different from other normal clubs and societies. It's so cool! I am thankful I obeyed Him and quit everything to go CF, although just one year, I felt this is the whole worth of my high school life. I found it, I found it in God and His community of world changers, crazy ones!

So yea! Here I am!

Still a Christian! Still a follower of Jesus Christ! Still an agent of change! Still a reflector of love! Still lame! Still JoFan.

Well, practically just same la, no difference! =P

haha! I took quite some time to make such a simple conclusion.

So I'm an 'ex' right now.. hmmm... quite hard to grasp.. haha! doesn't matter.

I pray the new batch of committee and CF members would see it as I do la... in Christ, we seriously are one and equal.... this is not some cheesy line.. serious real stuff! Mind blowing..

Lastly, I shall quote my awesome non-biological sister Janice who once said

"It doesn't matter who's the president or who's the committee in CF, the most important thing is that we have one leader and His name is Jesus Christ! That's all that counts!"

You wanna know why the CFs are so united? We HAPPEN to have the SAME leader. So of course the same VISION and same CAUSE.

Oh how I love this Kingdom! How I love this family! How I love my God!

Thank You so much Dad! I'll be rocking on for You! I'll get many more to do that too! =D

HCIT/LSE Summer Jeopardy Quiz 2010

Spent almost the whole day at HCIT (HELP International College of Technology), Klang Parade today. It was epic fun! Summer Jeopardy Quiz helod bu HICT and LSE(London School of Economics and Political Science) ! Where we had to answer all the real cool general knowledge questions with questions. haha! CHS basically spammed teams and went in 2 buses while other schools sent 1 or 2 teams. Completely intimidating. haha! Well I wasn't supposed to post about this, but my 11 Tweets sent via sms didn't work somehow. So yea... here were the updates.

I <3 CHS #1 (LOVElife 32): Canteen! + Intro..

Pastor Andy came to CF today! Woohoo! Haven't felt as inspired and encouraged in a longg time! He spoke about being an effective LEADER, Convicted and Courages to make a stand, take action and speak up for what we believe in. Full of fire as I felt! Our CF needed to hear this! He has 3 more points.. haha! Pn Lan was so excited she even invited him to come back sometime real soon! WHEEE!

Anyway, after that Joel (one of the Acts Teen's leader we're close to) was selling some RR stuff, encouraging everyone to continue to make a difference. They sold IOU's at 1 buck! and also 2 new RR badges which are epic!

We all agreed on how much these rocked better than Interact's "I *heart* CHS" badge. haha! Then it kept me thinking. What makes these Reces Revo badges DIFFERENT from Interact's is that it symbolises a movement that shows true love PRACTICALLY, not by words of mouth, but by ACTIONS!

I would like to hereby challenge every single one of those who owns the badge. If you say you love CHS, PROVE IT by your actions!

And since this is my last few months at CHS as a student, I would like to dedicate this series (running hand in hand with LOVElife) to my beloved school, that I love my school just as how Jesus loved me! And try to serve as a practical example to people who wants to show love to their school! Well.. i don't know how also.. but the Holy Spirit will lead me. =)

So.. the debut mission! TODAY!

We were having lunch with Pastor Andy, having great conversations at the canteen. As it started to go off lunch time, people started to leave, leaving us as the only table at the elevated side of the canteen. I looked around and saw plates and rubbish all around, up on the table and down on the floor. Complete mess. Then I looked at Eugene (he isn't an active CFer YET.. but i have a great feeling he would be. He's from Acts, pd Andy's church.. pretty passionate guy). A cleaner came up to look at the mess. I told Eugene, "wow.. a lot of rubbish horrr...". Trying to imply that we should clean it up being Christians. He nodded. I said, "help her mou?" then he replied, "ok.. lets do it! =D" with excitement in his eyes.. ?I haven't seen such response to my suggestion to make a diffence since zkay and my awesome gang of friends. That moment really brought me back to that position. Wow! How good if he's in form 4 or form 5, we could have changed the world through RR!! LIKE SERIOUSLY!

In that process, the cleaner left. We stood up and went around cleaning and picking up rubbish as Ps Andy continued to talk to Pn Lan. It might have been 5 minutes doing simple stuff, but It was REAL FUN!! The thrill of making a difference! Feels GREEATT! June saw and started to help us too! cool! In the end she threw one of the the fork and spoon into the rubbish bin by accident and had to pick it up. LOL!

SHOWED LOVE TO SCHOOL! AS SIMPLE AS THAT!

I love my school and I love it clean!

The cleaner would have felt so blessed. haha! i dunno, didn't see her after that...

Challenge: Simplest acts of love such as picking up rubbish and cleaning up canteen tables can make the biggest difference in the school. At least the CHOICE made by you to do so already stood out and made a bold statement that you LOVE your school!

LOVElife #31: To The Rescue

The tweet was dated 29th of July.

Just finished my food during recess. Stood up and prayed in my heart that God just let me show His love to somebody.

Threw my drink into the rubbish bin, walked down the elevated section of the canteen and Shu-Li appeared.

She asked me if I am going back to the class, I said yes. And she asked me if I could help her with something. I said DEFINITELY! She was talking about how her finger was bleeding and needed a plaster. In the end she requested that I go get some plaster for her at the PBSM room and leave it in her class.

I was excited God answered my prayers and ran straight there. haha! the pbsm members recorded as I took the plasters and they were looking around me for cuts. LOL!

Anyways, in the end I managed to leave it on her place and left back to class happily. haha!

That was cool! That was an act of love that Jesus would do!

Challenge: Even if you think there's nothing to do, ASK GOD. You'd most probably get an awesome chance to be used by God. =)

LOVElife #30: Of BOOKS and FILES

*It's not that love life did not happen everyday, but after all these, my life has been in fact changed to be a love life! It's like the new normal.. which is cool! Just showing love to people in every way! Stuff being normal, I have the tendency to think that it's not significant and not post it. So yea.. but I'll try to post as I can. Anyways, continue to see all these that I do and glorify my Father in Heaven, Jesus who lives in me made all this happen. He's the one!

This happened on the 27th of July and days around it.

People normally pack up and rush back after the last bell rings. Well bus's waiting, mom's furious, traffic's jammed. So there are friends who would ask me to help them bring the books they are placed in charged of to tables of various teacher's in the staff room. Yea... files.. books.. all kinds of stuff...

For myself, I have quite a lot in hand and I'd put them in the CF room and (normally) chill in or go chat in the canteen. Coz my mom chooses to come half an hour late to miss the jam.

So these friends would ask me, long before I would have charmed them off in procrastination.. hahaha! But well.. now I'd take up everything they request. Why? First, I'm a follower of Christ, Jesus would do it, so should I. Second, I'm the class monitor, it's SOMEHOW part of my responsibility.

So nowadays, off I go, one by one. Stack by stack. Smiling at my friends and ask them not to worry bout it.

SHOW LOVE!

Sometimes Kuen Yee would bless me in return with chocolates, haha! but that's beside the point. =P
