Bless who?

READ THESE CAREFULLY. NOTE THE PAST TENSES.

He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
-Galatians 3:14

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,
-Ephesians 1:13

From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.
-John 1:16

His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
-2 Peter 1:3

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God
-John 1:12

Now if we are children, then we are heirs?heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
-Romans 8:17

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
-Ephesians 2:6

And everyday we're sitting there praying BLESS US.. BLESS OUR DAY... BLESS THIS.. BLESS THAT.. BLESS OUR STUDIES... BLESS OUR whatever...

HELLO! They all prayed that in the OLD TESTAMENT (time before Jesus), God promised to bless Abraham and all his CHILDREN with everything that we're praying for God to BLESS US. JESUS REDEEMED ALL THAT through GRACE on the CROSS, with HIS BLOOD SHED FOR YOU. I dare you to check the Bible, nobody ever prayed such prayers after He was crucified and risen again. HE FULFILLED IT.

Just look at the verses, they're just SOME of the many of them.

Really.. think about it?

He has given us everything He promised, even as Gentiles. EVERYTHING that we can ever ask for. And yet we don't seem to know and get obsessed with ourselves asking for this for that little box of present, crying and begging and all that... and He goes like... "Dude, HAVE YOU EVER CHECKED THAT STORE ROOM? The one overflowing with EVERYTHING that I promised that has been given to you, have you used them? Have you realized how much you REALLY ALREADY HAVE? I mean.. DUDE.... I kinda gave you EVERYTHING? Even gave my one and only Son to fulfill that? And you're asking for that little box of.. whatever that is?? Errr.... wokayyyy.... I mean, it should already be there!"

Have we? Have we actually read ALL THE THINGS He has given to us. Do we know what authority we really have? Do we know what it means to be a co-heir with Christ? To be a CHILD of the CREATOR of the UNIVERSE?

Read your Bible! =)

Don't be like a person who buys an iPhone just to make calls and wondering everywhere else about how you can check maps portably and watch youtube videos or organize your schedules or get entertained while you're alone bored in a bus. Hello! You own a flippin iPhone! Use the APPS! Figure it out from there.

Isn't it time to start to really praise Him and ask how we can use what we are given to bless Him? To share His love to others? To bring them as well to be a part of this big fulfilled blessing? This hope and purpose we have in life? Well.. not a smooth sailing life, but a life worth living. =)
